Professional Training Opportunities in Cooking and Restaurant Fields in Germany to young Moroccans (ANAPEC)


Available Positions: 20 positions reserved for young Moroccans 


International Program to Enhance Professional Integration

Host Country: Germany – Lower Saxony Region


This program is implemented in collaboration between ANAPEC (National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills), GIZ (German Agency for International Cooperation), and the German Federal Hotel and Catering Association, under the THAMM Plus Initiative.


Available Specializations : 

1. Restaurant Specialist


  • Setting and decorating tables
  • Welcoming guests, providing advice, and taking orders
  • Serving food and drinks, billing, and handling payments
  • Contributing to menu design and organizing events


2. Chef (Chef de Cuisine)


  • Designing menus and selecting ingredients
  • Supervising kitchen operations
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes
  • Specializing in specific types of dishes
  • Estimating costs and providing customer consultations


Training Details


Program Duration:


  • 3-year dual training program
  • Training Components:
  • Theoretical Training: 1-2 days per week at an educational institution
  • Practical Training: In-company training with a legal monthly salary


Participation Requirements :


  • Registration with ANAPEC and active job search
  • High school diploma (Baccalaureate) or technical diploma
  • At least 6 months of experience or training in the field
  • Or training in cooking or restaurant management
  • German language certificate (B1 level)
  • Proficiency in French and/or English
  • Age between 18 and 25 years as of August 2025



Valid health certificate :


Willingness to work in a flexible-hour environment

  1. Copy of National ID or passport
  2. Detailed CV in German
  3. CV in French
  4. Copies of diplomas and professional experiences
  5. German language certificate (B1)



Additional Information :


Contract Type: 36-month employment contract


Monthly Salary: €1,000 (according to German laws)


Travel Expenses: Airfare covered by the company


Accommodation: Assistance in finding accommodation (not insured)


Cultural Preparation: Mandatory, starting in June 2025
