Life Actuary (F/M)

Responsibilities
  • Product Pricing and Development: Develop pricing for individual and group life insurance contracts. Draft technical notes and specifications for product development, ensuring all tests are completed before product launch.
  • Product Approval Reporting: Prepare PAP (Product Approval Process) reports for new product launches or technical updates.
  • Economic Profitability Analysis: Estimate economic profitability (NBV, VIF, ECR) aligned with AXA Group guidelines.
  • Product Profitability Analysis: Evaluate profitability for life products, focusing on loss ratios and Cor indicators.
  • Database Management: Handle and analyze databases to support life insurance activities.
  • Performance Tracking: Create and monitor KPIs and dashboards to oversee life insurance activities effectively.
  • Pension Simulators: Design simulators for pensions, capital, and hybrid solutions.
  • Customer Complaint Management: Address customer complaints on technical matters.
  • Cross-functional Tasks: Participate in various tasks, supporting backup functions as needed.
Required Skills
  • Actuarial Expertise: Strong understanding of actuarial methods in life insurance.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, VBA, and SAS.
  • Insurance Tax Knowledge: Profound knowledge of life insurance tax regulations.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities with strong organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Effective interpersonal skills with fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Independence and Responsiveness: Demonstrates autonomy and responsiveness in work.
Ideal Profile
  • A degree in Actuarial Finance Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Monitoring & Management Officer (F/M)

Main Tasks
  • Dashboard Development: Assist in the creation of dashboards and ensure data availability.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Participate in designing BI tools for sales and performance management.
  • Activity Breakdown: Provide precise segmentation of business activities.
  • Growth Plan Projection: Support the analysis and projection of the business development plan.
  • Competitive Analysis: Perform ongoing market analysis to evaluate AXA's market share by business line.
  • Group Reporting: Contribute to group reports, implementing standardized criteria.
  • Modeling and Simulation: Carry out modeling and simulation tasks.
  • Data Quality Control: Standardize official statistics and ensure quality data control.

  • Market Studies: Conduct market penetration studies to support AXA's network of agents and brokers.
  • Commercial Challenge Monitoring: Aid in organizing and monitoring commercial initiatives.
  • Gap Analysis: Analyze variances between projections and actual results, recommending corrective actions.
  • Executive Analysis: Prepare management reports with insights and recommendations.
